So Friday's class dealt with the energy. I learned on Friday that unlike most of the other concepts we've covered. Energy is scalar. I also learned that similar to previous concepts, there is a law of conservation of energy. Just like the others, it says that energy cannot be created or destroyed, it simply changes forms. I know it is a little hard to see but this is a picture of someone standing on a cliff of certain doom. Even though they are not moving at the moment, they have gravitational potential energy. If they jumped of the cliff this would change to kinetic energy. The change in energy is called work.
